And it’s so easy to get caught up in the negativity, feeling like happiness is a fleeting dream. Because your mind is frequently a battleground for negativity that continuously barrages you with fears, self-doubt, and an overall sense of being a deflated whoopie cushion.

It doesn’t resist change; it adapts. Imagine Sisyphus forever pushing that boulder uphill, only to have it roll back down. It is not exactly a recipe for a happy life, is it?

 

The same goes for you. Life throws its fair share of curveballs. Traffic jams, relationship hiccups, or that stubborn stain on your favorite shirt—these are the inevitable bumps in the road.

Look at Nick Vujicic, for example. Born without limbs, he could have easily succumbed to a scarcity mindset, believing his limitations would prevent him from achieving a happy life.

 

But Nick chose abundance. He leveraged his internal strengths—his determination and resilience—and external resources—supportive family and technology—to become a motivational speaker and advocate for people with disabilities.

 

Remember, happiness isn’t about acquiring more stuff or chasing some external validation. It’s about recognizing the abundance that already exists in your life and using it to create the happy life you deserve.
