Do you realize that you possess mind power that can transform your thoughts into reality? The source of this power is your mind.

You can turn a thought into reality by concentrating your thoughts on an intended outcome in your life. This process of using your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs to turn your dreams into reality is called manifestation.

In this guide, I will share with you how you can use hypnotic mind power to manifest your dreams. But is there scientific evidence behind the idea of manifestation?

It’s All In Your Mind

When I said that thoughts shape reality, I really meant that expectations brought on by those thoughts shape reality. This is the science behind the notion of manifestation.

Your expectations, regardless of whether they are positive or negative, tend to manifest themselves in reality. This is because of a phenomenon known as “self-fulfilling prophecy.” When you believe in something, your actions will follow suit.

Self-fulfilling prophecy makes it abundantly clear that having confidence in your abilities increases the likelihood that you will succeed. Your behavior will eventually lead to the actions that will produce that desired outcome.

According to psychologist Carol Dweck, if we genuinely feel we can do something, we’ll work hard to make it happen. In Mindset: The New Psychology of Success, she wrote that our lives are influenced by two fundamental mindsets.

The first is a fixed mindset, where one believes that talent and intelligence are fixed. If you are bad at something, you probably think you will always be bad at it.

The other is a growth mindset. With this mindset, you thrive on challenges and believe that your intelligence and talents can be developed over time. This is the mindset that can help you manifest your dreams and reach your goals.

So, if you want to realize your dreams, having the right mindset is vital. Napoleon Hill wrote in his 1937 bestseller, Think and Grow Rich, that:

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”

Once your mind believes that it’s possible to achieve something, there is nothing that can hold it back. Your thoughts and expectations affect your actions and results on a subconscious level.

So, how do you tune into your mind’s boundless potential to manifest your dreams?

The Source Of Your Mind Power

Before getting into the specifics of using your mindpower, let’s take a quick look at the subconscious mind. If you wish to tap into your hypnotic mindpower, these three facts about the subconscious mind deserve close attention:

  1. Your Subconscious Mind Controls Most of Your Life

Neuroscience shows that 95% of brain activity is from the subconscious mind. According to stem cell biologist Dr. Bruce Lipton:

“Our thoughts are mainly controlled by our subconscious, which is largely formed before the age of 6…”

Your subconscious mind regulates every bodily process, including eating, breathing, digestion, and memory formation. It also controls everything that governs your thoughts, beliefs, feelings, actions, and reactions.

  1. Your Subconscious Mind Takes Everything Literally

Your subconscious mind accepts all of your conscious thoughts without question. It doesn’t judge any of your conscious thoughts.

Whatever instructions your conscious mind gives, it just complies. It makes no distinction between negative and positive.

So, if you keep telling yourself that you’ll never be successful, that will very likely be the outcome.

  1. Your Subconscious Mind Is Habitual

All of your acquired experiences, learned behaviors, emotional responses, beliefs, and perceptions are recorded and stored in your subconscious mind. As Dr. Joseph Murphy mentioned in his book, The Power Of Subconscious Mind:

“The habitual thinking of your conscious mind establishes deep grooves in your subconscious mind.”

With the function of storing and retrieving information, it enables almost all of your behavior to run on autopilot.

These facts indicate that the subconscious mind is just like a GPS (global positioning system). Therefore, you must give your subconscious a clear set of instructions in order to create the outcome you desire.

Is Your Mind Holding You Back?

Have you ever put a lot of work into achieving a goal only to find that it eludes you? It’s probably your subconscious holding you back because its programs do not support what you want.

In his book, Dr. Joseph Murphy has already clued us in:

“You are the gardener of your subconscious mind; you are planting seeds of thought in your subconscious mind every day. Your subconscious mind will give result from your thought which you have planted”

During the first seven years of your life, your subconscious mind is actively absorbing all kinds of programming. In adulthood, the limiting beliefs that were hardwired into you over the first seven years start to hold you back.

As you get older, the influence of your subconscious mind on your actions becomes more obvious. If you suspect there are thoughts that are keeping you from realizing your dreams, there’s only one thing to do…

Reprogram your subconscious mind.

Dr. Lipton contends that all the cells in our body are affected by our thoughts. To reach your goals, you need to plant the right seeds of thought.

To reprogram your subconscious mind, you will need a new set of thoughts that can help you empower change. But only at the subconscious level can any changes or reprogramming occur.

At this level, your self-limiting beliefs can be easily reprogrammed. If you intend to rewire your subconscious mind, you have two options.

One way is to repeat a specific behavior until you form a new habit. This new habit will move you towards your goals. The other way to reprogram your subconscious mind is through hypnosis.

How To Overwrite Limiting Beliefs

As the “Dean of Personal Development,” Earl Nightingale once said:

“Whatever we plant in the subconscious mind and nourish with repetition and emotion will one day become a reality.”

That being said, there are many different approaches to overwriting the limiting beliefs that are stored in your subconscious mind. The approach we will discuss here is self-hypnosis.

Most people will seek the help of a hypnotherapist to guide them into a hypnotic state. It is in this state that you can easily access your subconscious mind and reprogram it.

However, you can enter the hypnotic state on your own using self-hypnosis. After all, all hypnosis is technically self-hypnosis. Even if a hypnotist is directing you, you are the one who ultimately put yourself into a trance.

With this hypnotic mind power, you can change any unwanted deep-seated beliefs, fears, and memories. Make sure you are clear on your goals before you start the self-hypnosis approach.

Although hypnosis is merely a focused state of heightened concentration, it can alter many aspects of your life. This includes:

  • Reduce anxiety and stress
  • Enhance your performance in sports
  • Increase your self-esteem
  • Sleep better
  • Manage your weight
  • Stop unwanted habits (like nail-biting and smoking)

Are you prepared to change the limiting beliefs that have been embedded in your subconscious mind through the years?

Activate Your Hypnotic Mind Power

Before you can activate your hypnotic mind power, you need to have a specific objective in mind. What specifically would you like to rewire in your subconscious mind?

To boost your confidence? Have more tenacity to accomplish your goals in life?

Be advised that your dreams won’t materialize right away after this session. However, it will set off a chain of events that will get you closer and closer to your desired outcome.

So, when you are ready, let’s begin.

  1. Get yourself as comfortable as you possibly can before you start. It helps to wear clothing that makes you feel relaxed and at ease.
  1. Then, locate a cozy area where you can sit or lie down. Have all of your electronic devices temporarily turned off so that you won’t be disturbed throughout this session.
  1. Close your eyes and take a deep breath. As you slowly inhale and exhale, you can feel that your eyelids are becoming heavier. With each breath, you will become more relaxed, and all nervous tensions will start to fade away.
  1. Imagine that you are in a place that makes you calm and relaxed. You could be walking along a beach, sitting on a park bench, or sipping a drink at your favorite café.

  1. You’ll start to relax so much at this point that you’ll start to sink into your chair or sofa. Begin to silently and mentally count down from ten to one.
  1. With each count, you will begin to feel more and more relaxed. You visualize and tell yourself aloud what you want to happen at the same time.

Remember to only use positive language when repeating those statements.

  1. Instead of saying, “I don’t want to have a sleepless night,” say, “I’m enjoying a good night’s sleep.” You can tell yourself things like, “I’m a confident person who can deliver a speech in public with ease.” Please take note that your statements must be in the present tense.
  1. Continue to count down while interspersing your statements and visualizations between each count. When you reach the count of one, you will be completely relaxed.
  1. At this stage, you have activated your hypnotic mind power. Continue to focus on the personal statements, visualize them in your mind, and repeat them in your thoughts.
  1. Stay in that hypnotic state for a few minutes. Enjoy being in a state of relaxation and focused attention.
  1. Once you feel that you have finished rewiring your subconscious mind, prepare to leave your hypnotic state. Take a few deep breaths as you get ready to wake up.
  1. Tell yourself that in a few moments you will awaken. When you wake up, you will feel energized and confident. All normal sensations will return to your body, and you will be back in the present moment.
  1. Begin counting up from one to ten. With each count, you will feel more and more awake. When you reach the count of eight, you will open your eyes. At the count of ten, you will be wide awake.

Congratulations! You had just started the process of harnessing your hypnotic mind power to manifest your desires.

It’s possible that reading written instructions while you’re in a hypnotic trance can disrupt the flow of your hypnotic state. If practicing self-hypnosis is challenging for you, consider subliminal audios or hypnosis using binaural beats.

Igniting Change: What Comes Next?

As you continue to practice self-hypnosis, you will begin to notice positive changes in your life. You might be wondering whether or not your reprogramming efforts are successful.

Most people will not notice changes right away. Your personal transformation will most likely be gradual and spread out across days, weeks, or even months.

While some changes are more noticeable than others, some could be as subtle as a shift in mindset or behavior. Here are some obvious signs that you have successfully tapped into your hypnotic mind power:

  • There is a spike in your energy level
  • You experience an increase in self-esteem, confidence, and trust
  • Your capacity for concentration and problem-solving has increased
  • You feel a sense of inner peace
  • Your drive and motivation have greatly increased

Don’t be dismayed if your life does not seem to be changing. You’ve been subjected to years of conditioning and programming.

It takes time for the reprogramming process to do its magic. Give it time and have some patience.

Conclusion

You have acquired the know-how to transform your thoughts into reality using your hypnotic mind power. Your thoughts will become so powerful when you add focus and emotion that you can shape any reality you desire.

As Dr. Joseph Murphy said in The Power of Your Subconscious Mind:

“As you sow in your subconscious mind, so shall you reap in your body and environment.”

To maximize the power of your subconscious mind, remember that:

  1. 95% of brain activity is controlled by your subconscious mind.
  2. Your subconscious mind accepts all of your conscious thoughts without question.
  3. All your habits and emotional responses are stored in your subconscious mind.

This is essential when practicing self-hypnosis and feeding your subconscious mind with affirmations and positive, life-enhancing thoughts.

Last but not least, keep in mind what Marla McKenna, the author of Manifesting Your Dreams, said about manifesting dreams:

“The only thing stopping you from manifesting your dreams is you. What you can visualize in your mind, you can hold in your hands.”

Therefore, keep using your hypnotic mind power to create your dreams and make them come true.
